ABC’s “Interviews” with Governor Sarah Palin:

Prayer Urgently Needed

 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
from that noisy crowd of evildoers.
They sharpen their tongues like swords
and aim their words like deadly arrows. Ps 64:2-3

 But God will shoot them with arrows;
suddenly they will be struck down. Ps 64:7

 Brethren, as you may know ABC’s Charles Gibson is planning interviews with Governor Sarah Palin, which will be aired on Thursday and Friday in a variety of their news outlets.  ABC has proudly announced it is digging deeply in order to do a tough interview. 

What is their intention?  Is it to ask relevant questions in order to help us know her better and enable voters to make more informed decisions? 

 Or, is it to ask “gotcha” questions and cast Governor Palin as an uninformed, dangerously extreme hayseed? 

 It is imperative that we PRAY for Governor Palin (and Senator McCain) now and until Election Day. 

Why?  Because our enemies have determined that her candidacy, which I believe is a gracious gift from God, has the potential to destroy their plans.  So, they are desperate to destroy her instead. 

 Some Ways to Pray:

 1.     That Governor Palin (and Senator McCain) will be “mightily” empowered by the Holy Spirit.

 But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD. Mic 3:8

2.     That her strength of character and knowledge will be obvious to all, and that Senator McCain’s choice will be vindicated. 

 Vindicate me, O LORD,
For I have walked in my integrity.
I have also trusted in the LORD;
I shall not slip. Ps 26:1

 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me. Ps 27:6

 3.     That all wicked plots, schemes and intentions will be confused and confounded.

 He frustrates the devices of the crafty,
So that their hands cannot carry out their plans.
He catches the wise in their own craftiness,
And the counsel of the cunning comes quickly upon them. Job 5:12-13

 Brethren, I am sure you can sense how important this is.  As they say in England, “Please don’t let the side down.”
