ObamaCare, The “Tipping-Point”

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
And He saved them out of their distresses. (Ps 107:19)

And the LORD shall help them and deliver them;
He shall deliver them from the wicked,
And save them,
Because they trust in Him. (Ps 37:40)

Commentary:

As you know, the Obama “Health” Care obsession is bringing us to The “Tipping-Point”. Whether we slide into Tyranny depends on the votes of 20-30 congressmen when the matter comes up for vote in the House of Representatives in the next week or two. Our only hope is that God will intervene and cause these people to vote “No”. (Click Here for a list of some of these people; please pray for them by name.)

This is very serious! I plead with you not to look away, but instead to make this a matter of continually urgent Prayer.

Does Prayer really make a difference?

Below are some answers to this question from E. M. Bounds’ book (The Complete Works of E. M. Bounds):

1. Prayer is THE Key

“The more praying there is in the world, the better the world will be; the mightier the forces against evil everywhere. Prayer, in one phase of its operation, is a disinfectant and a preventive. It purifies the air; it destroys the contagion of evil.”

“It is a voice which goes into God’s ear, and it lives as long as God’s ear is open to holy pleas, as long as God’s heart is alive to holy things.”

“God shapes the world by prayer.”

“That man is the most immortal who has done the most and the best praying. They are God’s heroes, God’s saints, God’s servants, God’s deputies.”

“Ask of Me is the condition a praying people willing and obedient… They prayed and God answered their prayers, and the cause of God was kept alive in the world by the flame of their praying.”

“The secret of success in Christ’s Kingdom is the ability to pray. The one who can wield the power of prayer is the strong one, the holy one in Christ’s Kingdom. The most important lesson we can learn is how to pray.”
