Is China’s President An “Alien”, Too?

Dear Brethren & Others:

Recently we have been writing to you about Mexican “aliens”. Today we write to you about another kind of “alien” – the President (i.e., dictator, murderer, oppressor) of China, Hu Jintao.

You may ask, “Harry, how could he be an ‘alien’?” Answer: he and his government are alien to everything we stand for and treasure. Here is a partial list of egregious ways they are aliens:

They imprison, torture and kill dissidents;
They imprison, torture and kill Christians and ardent believers of other faiths;
They build up their military (partially by stealing our secrets) with an eye to enslaving Taiwan, intimidating other Southeast Asia nations, and challenging us militarily since we are their declared “enemy”;
They stop “unwelcome” information on the Internet about democracy, Christianity, etc.;
They capture North Korean refuges and return them to certain imprisonment, torture or execution (see the Wall Street Journal editorial about Kim Chun-Hee): http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110008258
They force abortions;
They steal lands from peasant farmers in order to build big businesses;
Etc., etc., etc.!

Yet, a column today in the Washington Times talks about “the exquisite diplomatic nuance” that is required when dealing with China.

Do we believe God will “nuance” His dealings with Hu, his colleagues and predecessors? Also, when He deals with our governmental leaders and businessmen who are co-conspirators in the areas listed above (think former President Clinton)?

No, He will execute His Vengeance in a variety of ways. The Bible tells of God’s Wrath against persecutors and oppressive tyrants (for example Dt 32:28-35; Is 34:8; 2 Thess 1:4-10; Rev 6:9-10). Also, those in a position to help but who look away or, even worse, aid and abet such evil will not be spared His Wrath (see Dt 20:4-5).

How to Pray:

That God will rid China of Communism, its current officials will be replaced with Godly leaders and these beautiful people set free;

That Christianity will continue to explode and China will become a Christian Nation;
That our leaders will deal effectively with the woeful human rights situation in China and North Korea.
