Dear Brethren & Others:

We are so very thankful to the Lord that Judge Alito was nominated, was anointed in the Hearings, got approved by the Judiciary Committee and is in line for a vote by the full Senate this week or next.

However, his enemies (and God's) are desperate. They are demanding a filibuster. Will they succeed? Please pray that their evil schemes will be frustrated (Job 5:12-16) and that Judge Alito will be confirmed promptly.

Let's keep on praying for the completion of this task!

On another matter - IRAN - the issue is very serious. You know about their intention to eliminate Israel. What hasn't been publicized as much are statements like these:

•  They promise "a world without America" - a goal they believe is "attainable";

•  "Allah willing, Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountaintops of the world" (including Europe's);

•  "We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization" (I guess that would include Canada).

According to Kenneth Timmerman (author of "Countdown to Crisis" and an expert on Iran): "It's time to get serious. They want to murder us, to exterminate us as a culture. Right now they are buying time and the EU and the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) are complicit in what's taking place."

From everything I hear, read and sense, all this talk is a waste of time (see Timmerman's comments above). Nothing will stop them no matter what the pathetic UN says. The mullah's are dedicated and determined and we are not. There simply are no good options. Bombing their sites is fraught with peril.

So, what to do? Only one thing will save us: PRAYER! Please pray for God's intervention! He is our only hope!
