The Alito Hearings: A Look Into People’s Hearts

Dear Brethren & Others:

I must confess to you that my heart is heavy today! Heavy because of what we saw and heard take place during the Alito hearings.

We heard Senators Leahy, Kennedy, Schumer and Biden, etc. unleash savage, deceitful, lying and hypocritical attacks on a good and decent man. The Bible tells us that “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Mt 12:34).

Since that is true, we can only gather that these men (and their outside lobbying pals – Planned Parenthood, NOW, MoveOn.Org, Act Up, etc.) have savage, deceitful, lying and anti-American hearts.

For example, take note of the “agreement” they made with Chairman Arlen Specter (R-PA) that the full committee would vote on Alito’s nomination this week. Not surprisingly, the Democrats broke that “agreement”, looking for more time to build opposition to Alito. When I heard about the “agreement” last week I fully expected it would never happen, because I didn’t believe they intended to keep it in the first place. Pagans are liars and deceivers, because for them the end justifies any means whatsoever!

Of whom does this remind you? Nazi Germany, North Korea, China, Soviet Russia and Iran? These nations make pacts, treaties, etc. with absolutely no intention of keeping them. Tyrants, dictators, and murderous regimes always behave like this, yet gullible nations, groups and individuals continue to believe them, eventually to their sorrow.

So, what conclusion can be drawn from the above?

1. The far left leaders of the Democratic party, being pagans interested primarily in their own power, can NEVER be trusted;
2. Their hearts do not seem much different than those rulers who oppress people in other nations;
3. Woe unto us if these kind of hearts ever regain power;
4. By the GRACE of God and because of many prayers, Judge Alito may become JUSTICE Alito;
5. Keep PRAYING! “It’s not over, ‘til it’s over” (Yogi Berra).
