"Let everyone who is Godly pray to you while you may be found" (Psalm 32:6)
HOUSE VOTES TO LIMIT U.N. DUES
Won't Make U.S. Taxpayers Pay for "America-Abuse"
--Last week the United States was voted off the U.N. Human Rights commission while Sierra Leone, Uganda, Pakistan, and even Sudan were accepted. Red China and Libya are also members.
--Later the same day, the U.S. was voted off the U.N. International Narcotics Control Board. The U.S. was undeniably the most effective and necessary advocate in both groups.
--U.S. allies on the Human Rights commission (notably Sweden, Austria and France) made no effort to stop the anti-American effort. Indeed, many of our European allies have become openly hostile toward the U.S., our new President, and many of our more principled, conservative-leaning policies.
--It was the lobbying efforts of Communist China and Cuba that led most directly to the U.S. ouster.
--The House also voted 282-137 to keep the United States out of the International Criminal Court.
The U.N. has increasingly become a tool for the enemies of the United States to abuse us, meddle in our affairs, change our laws, and to weaken the values and freedom of our great, but faltering nation. But, if it were not for our disproportionate contribution, the U.N. simply could not punish us as it does. As it stands, we are financing our own abuse. This is irrational and ungodly.
Please Join Us in Believing, Overcoming Prayer:
--Lord, Our DEFENDER, thank You for God-fearing leaders in Congress. May America be RIGHTEOUS & FIRM in our dealings with anti-Christ international powers. May the President, the House & Senate STAND TOGETHER as one & may the House action stick. Awaken Your people to Understand & Pray. In Jesus' Name. Amen (Ps 2:all; 3:all; 15:1-4; 127:1; Is 28:15-18; 31:1-3; Mt 10:16).
