"Let everyone who is Godly pray to you while you may be found"  (Psalm 32:6)

Praying for the Persecuted Church

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, "Come, ye blessed of my Father...for I was in prison, and ye came unto me...Inasmuch as ye have done it to the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me..." (Mt 25:34-46).

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body (Heb 13:3).

While you were praying for the Montagnards of Vietnam, U.S. officials offered this persecuted people a new home here in America. The U.S. also warned Hanoi to stop harassing the Montagnards after 400 Vietnamese reportedly entered their refugee camps in Cambodia to compel the tribes-people to return to their homes in the central highlands of Vietnam. (See http://www.prayeralert.org/alertarchives/alert-03-02-01.html )

A year ago, the Christian Montagnards fled to Cambodia after Vietnam authorities quelled the tribe's protest over the confiscation of their ancestral lands and their lack of religious freedom. At that time, the U.S. granted asylum to about three-dozen Montagnards. Vietnam officials were incensed by this action.

Join Us in Intercession for the Persecuted Church:

**Heavenly Father, WATCH OVER Your people, the Montagnards. Thank You for moving U.S. officials to offer them asylum. Continue to be their ADVOCATE (Job 16:16-21; Ps 91:all; 82:all; 126:all; 1 Cor 15:57-58; 1 Jn 2:1-2, 5:4).

**AWAKEN the American Church to PRAY! Help us pray for the persecuted Church and other oppressed peoples. In Jesus' Name, Amen (Mt 25:31-46; Heb 13:3).

[Editor's Note: we have been trying to get information on the outcome of Christian schoolteacher Parvez Masih's trial in Pakistan, but no information has come forth (see http://www.prayeralert.org/alertarchives/alert-03-02-03.html ). His trial was to have taken place on March 16, the day before the explosion in the church in Pakistan. The situation there is very volatile - Christians around the world are encouraged to pray for the Pakistani Church.)
