"Let everyone
who is Godly pray to you while you may be found" (Psalm
32:6)
RESTORE US TO YOURSELF!
"Restore us to Yourself,
O Lord, that we may return..." (Jer 5:21)
OVERVIEW:
President George Bush declared Friday, September 14, to be a
Day of Prayer and Remembrance for the victims and their families
of Tuesday's attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Church services and prayer vigils were held across the country
and around the world to help the process of grieving move forward.
Now the American Church must unite in seeking the Heart of
God for the United States of America.
--We must ask God to give our PRESIDENT, HUMILITY, REPENTANCE
& SUPERNATURAL WISDOM: humility to seek God's Will &
Guidance at this time, repentance to cause this nation to return
to God, and wisdom to deal with Arab leaders inclined to support
our radical Muslim adversaries.
--We must pray for our INTELLIGENCE & LAW ENFORCEMENT
OFFICERS: that God will help them IDENTIFY & FIND our terrorist
enemies and EXPOSE & THWART their destructive schemes, especially
any secondary attacks that may already be planned.
--We must pray for our MILITARY as they prepare to finish
the war that the terrorists have declared against the United
States by their barbarous acts: that the Lord will GUIDE &
PROTECT them, that JUSTICE is served and not revenge.
--We must pray, too, for God's MERCY with respect to our nation's
financial markets, already in decline. Apart from God's mercy,
they could be on the verge of collapse.
Please Join Us in Believing, Prayer:
--Almighty God, we GRIEVE over the loss of our loved ones
in the barbaric assault upon the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Send Your COMFORT to the families of the victims (Is 61:3; Jer
31:15-17; Lam 5:15; II Cor 1:3-7);
--Now, we must move forward and regain Your Favor. Allow America
to RETURN TO YOU. Grant the President the HUMILITY & WISDOM
to call this nation to REPENTANCE (Neh 1:5-11; Dan 9:4-19; Hos
2:14-15);
--"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed,
for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great
is Your faithfulness." In Jesus' Name, AMEN (Lam 3:22-23).
